Why expose Sarah to the Press

The rabid press is now rabid that Sarah Palin is not being thrown to them so they can regurgitate the spewing hatred of the Obama campaign and their henchmen toward her.  Witness the detestible Campbell Brown:

Campell, why should we throw her out to the likes of you so you can ask disgusting rumor mongered questions like "Is it true that Todd is sexually abusing your kids?" or gotcha questions like "Who is the leader of Djibouti and what will a McCain administration do to dislodge the Issa clan from dominating the government?"

Campbell here's a question for you:  Who is William Ayers, What connection does he have to a candidate in this race and why is that important?   I won't hold my breath waiting for that question to be asked.  In fact the only drama surrounding an MSM "reporter" interviewing Obama (pbuh) is this:

Will they swallow?

It's fun to be a conservative again!

I was very depressed about our chances this fall until Sarah Palin arrived on the scene.  I knew a little about her, but wow, what a difference the last couple of weeks have been.  She has completely turned the race around.  We know this by all of the "She is just like me!" connection she has made with women voters.  We see her approval shoot up among men!  Perhaps the best indicator of her dramatic change of McCain's chances is the fact that the left has gone completely stark raving mad beyond previous levels.  The press has dropped all pretense of disguising its anointing of "The Great Enlightened One, Barack Obama (pbuh)" as their Prophet/Messiah through its vicious attacks on Palin.

The best way to handle all of these attacks is to let them continue and in fact bait them into more and more outrageous attacks on McCain & Palin.  It engenders sympathy and motivates the base.  Americans do have a sense of fairness and this only helps the Republican ticket and maybe even the down ballot races.  The other benefit of their way over the top attacks is that we now have what I think is the most deadly and effective weapon against the liberal Coastal Elites:  Ridicule & Derision.  They hate this and I love it!

One Reagan like trait I have seen from Sarah Palin is her good naturedness.  This comes from humility and a strong conviction.  Look how this came out in the interview with Gibson the Condescending.  They used to try to do this to Reagan and it made him look good and them look like self important windbags.

Happy San Jacinto Day!

Lift a glass today in honor of the glorious Texian victory over the tyrant Santa Anna. It was 172 years ago that the rag tag army that Sam Houston put together defeated the Napoleon of the West in a marshy area along the San Jacinto River.  The victory was Absolut!

The history of the American West was now set in motion. Tyranny and a corrupt and stifling culture was defeated and replaced with the dynamic culture of the Anglosphere. The victory was dynamic because it continues today.

How do we know this? All you have to do is look at the millions of Mexicans who risk all to claw their way here to work and live. Setting aside the broader issues surrounding Illegal Immigration for the moment, it is an indisputable fact that given a choice, most people will choose freedom, dynamic open market capitalism and a culture that is free of fixed social class and corruption when given the choice. Oh and it does not matter what color, culture, faith  or social class you come from, the Anglosphere is open to all who wish to join.

So, here’s to you Sam Houston, Mirabeau Lamar, Sidney Johnson, Juan Seguin and all the others who took just eighteen minutes to rid Texas of tyranny that wonderful April day in 1836.

P. S.:   Sam Houston is on my list of “Guys I would like to go drinkin’ & hell raising with”.
